Good to know
Frequently asked questions
What happens when I make an enquiry?
You send a short message through the form. Our team reads it, and gets back to you to match you with the psychologist who best suits your needs. From there we help you book a first session at a time that works.
Do I need a GP referral?
You can see us without a referral if you are paying the private fee. To claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a GP Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and a referral from your GP to one of our psychologists.
What does it cost, and how do Medicare rebates work?
Sessions are $220 to $250 depending on the practitioner. With a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $101.55 per session for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year, which reduces your out-of-pocket cost. We are happy to walk you through how it applies to you.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. You can be seen in person at our Camberwell Junction rooms, or from home by telehealth anywhere in Australia.
How do I know which psychologist is right for me?
You do not have to work that out on your own. Tell us what is going on in your enquiry, and we will match you with a psychologist who fits your needs and availability. If it is not the right fit, we can help you change.
Do you see children and teens?
Yes. The team includes a child-focused psychologist who supports children and adolescents. If you are enquiring for a young person, let us know in your message.
